Nebraska Elite 15 Revolution’s roaring start to 2024 put Phillips in the spotlight again, and this middle blocker keeps getting better. She has a large attacking window in front of the setter and is becoming a shutdown blocker, too. 15 Revolution’s GJNC spot is assured, so more high-level reps are on the horizon.

Another step up for Phillips. She landed on our radar last fall when she put in work for Millard South as a varsity-starting freshman. Phillips continues her ascent with Nebraska Elite 15-1, which just secured its trip to Nationals with a 15 Open bid. Look out for this athletic middle blocker to get off the floor quickly and put her stamp on any given match. It happened a lot last weekend.

One of Omaha’s biggest schools is checking in for this entry. Phillips, who represents Nebraska Elite on the club side, got plenty of looks with Millard South during the 2023 fall season. The Patriots were not afraid to wield some fresh faces last season, and that should allow players like Phillips to get a head start on their development. Sparring with Class A teams will do that.
