About Charlotte

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am intelligent. I anticipate the block before I set. I also want to keep them honest by making them worry about a dump or hit when I set in the front row. I want to make the defensive front row think and react so that they can't communicate as well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try very very hard to be unemotional when I play. I get excited when we do good things, but I want to move on to the next play. I also try to be very coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm starting a new school. I haven't decided on what other activities I'll participate in, but I will be doing something. I enjoy journalism and photography.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm more of a leader by how I play. I am working on being more vocal, but I have always been a supportive person. I want my teammates to know that I have their back.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was cut from every Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati club that I tried out for in 7th grade. I got lucky that CVC had an extra tryout. They moved me to setter during the tryout and it all just kind of clicked.

What type of college are you looking for?

I just know that I want it to be by the ocean. I have been thinking about studying Marine Biology.
