Aubree does a nice job for her squad. She plays that S/RS hitter role for her squad. Nice hands when setting teammates and can give you good swings on the OPP. side! Gets her hands on the ball during block attempts. Has a nice touch with short serves and good accuracy while serving.

The definition of “utility player” at a high level. Westerfield is incredibly athletic, but it’s her brain that keeps opponents off balance. She makes elite choices under pressure, knowing exactly when to use power and when to exploit a gap in the defense.

I was impressed to see that Westerfield is actually 3 years younger than most of her teammates. She does a solid job and makes sure her hitters get a lot of hittable balls. Westerfield also isn’t afraid to take the ball over on the second contact but finds just the right time to do so.
