About Jazlyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I think of my self as a player that can be put in any situation and flourish. I’m willing to to anything that is asked of me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentally I try to maintain a sense of calm and focus, even in fast-paced or high-pressure situations. The mental game of volleyball is just as important as the physical game. Personality wise I try to have fun and be in the moment just trying to balance the two.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Ive been in year book since middle school currently I am the editor for my high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Even though I’m not a captain I feel like I have been a leader in the past couple of years. The experience of a new club team and starting high school last year has pushed me to be more of a leader and a teammate through teamwork and individualized training.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Trying to find my voice and being confident in expressing my self has been a challenge.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college that I can be successful on and off the court.
