Huge fan of Ellie Kowalski Ellie Kowalski 5'7" | DS/L Saint Ignatius College Prep | 2027 State IL ‘s game.  She is coming off a big high school season as the libero for St. Ignatius, and has played her club ball for 1st Alliance.  Everything about her game is high level.  She demonstrates a controlled range, meaning she can cover quite the territory while also remaining poised and under control.  She makes the tough plays look routine.  This should be an exciting club season for Kowalksi where there are a lot of 2027s still on the board from 1st Alliance. 

Ellie Kowalski Ellie Kowalski 5'7" | DS/L Saint Ignatius College Prep | 2027 State IL is one of the top available players in Illinois where she is a gritty libero from Chicago.  She goes to high school at St. Ignatius and plays her club volleyball at 1st Alliance.  Watching Kowalski live is definitely a treat where she anticipates well and is so quick to the ball.  She can handle a high volume in serve receive and is extremely well trained.  She is accustomed to high level competition on the high school and club courts while averaging four digs per set for Ignatius. 

Ellie Kowalski Ellie Kowalski 5'7" | DS/L Saint Ignatius College Prep | 2027 State IL gets the party started for 1st Alliance 16 Silver.  She is rock solid in the backrow as the libero who can handle a high volume of serve receive and command the first contact.  Her 1st Alliance squad swept their pool going 3-0 and they won their challenge match which guaranteed themselves a finish in the top 32, among the elite.  With Kowalski getting plenty of touches, this team is sure to have a big March and April where they will look to punch their ticket to USAV Nationals in Dallas. 

Ellie Kowalski Ellie Kowalski 5'7" | DS/L Saint Ignatius College Prep | 2027 State IL brings so much athleticism to the libero position for St. Ignatius College Prep and 1st Alliance.  She was a key piece to the success of 1st Alliance 15 Gold in 2024 where they advanced to the USAV 15 Open Division.  She has quite the range and can handle a heavy volume of serve receive.  Kowalski also has the ability to make really difficult plays look easy with her ability to anticipate and be efficient with her feet and platform.
