Our next 2027 rankings update will a high-impact “transfer” from up north. Van Kirk started her prep career in Montana but has moved to the Nebraska scene for 16s action. Her presence with VCNebraska 16 Elite has offered an immediate boost in frontcourt firepower and lockdown net defense. VanKirk’s length makes her an ideal setting choice in out-of-system situations, even if you’d expect most of those sets to go to the left side. This dynamic opposite produced some indefensible heat at NIT and has formed a cohesive bond with her new teammates. Future national events will give us an even better glimpse at this Montana-to-Nebraska transplant from the Class of 2027.
