Part 1 of this series introduced one new addition to the VCNebraska 17 Black lineup, so let’s bring on another. Sidlo’s prep journey has taken her from middle blocker to opposite to setter, and seemingly everything in between. She stepped into the VCNebraska gym and took the reins of 17 Black’s setter spot, allowing Sidlo’s distribution and leadership to shine at NLQ. The Lincoln Lutheran prep star can command any system and leverages her physicality well as a frontcourt setter. 17 Black learned a lot in Minneapolis and will apply those reps to the next big qualifier trek.

Sidlo’s fascinating career progression continues. She made early waves with Lincoln Lutheran as a freshman while the Warriors were midway through their four-peat title streak. Sidlo can dominate as an opposite attacker and has also shown enough physicality to anchor the middle. However, her past club campaigns have also revealed Sidlo’s finesse as a back-row setter and signal-caller. Sidlo helped Nebraska ONE 17 Black climb into the GJNC field behind this setter-hitter onslaught. Now, the attacking part of the equation is reemerging with Sidlo racking up 2.7 kills per set on the prep side. Back and forth we go.

Sidlo has done it all. We’ve seen her win state championships with Lincoln Lutheran while anchoring the middle or attacking on the right side. Her club career has exhibited her willingness to transition from a game-changing attacker to a skillful setter. Sidlo’s vast arsenal has expanded further with Nebraska ONE 17 Black, where she has embraced a dynamic setter-attacker role. We’ll see more of this versatility when Sidlo and 17 Black travel to USAV Nationals.

Sidlo has done it all. She has played middle blocker for Lincoln Lutheran, run offenses at the setter spot with VCNebraska , and has exhibited her versatility again with Nebraska ONE . This state champion is a vital piece of the Nebraska ONE 17 Black operation, all while playing up an age group. Sidlo is a stout right-side blocker and still puts plenty of quality work as a setter. Her positional designation is ever-changing.

Sidlo’s multi-position journey has taken her to Lincoln Lutheran’s right-side hitter spot. The move has generated immediate results with the Warriors wielding an unstoppable pin-to-pin attack. Sidlo’s experience as a middle blocker makes her a viable option on crossing pattern and combination plays. We saw the whole route tree get deployed as Lincoln Lutheran defeated Norfolk Catholic to reach the Class C2 title match.

Sidlo’s versatility continues to amaze us. She started her prep career as a show-stopping middle blocker with Lincoln Lutheran as the Warriors stormed to their third consecutive state championship. Then, Sidlo took on a setter role with VCNebraska during this year’s club season. That brings us to this year’s high school season, where Sidlo has made big gains as a right-side hitter and is hitting 0.212 on the season. Her offensive output has risen past two kills per set, giving Lincoln Lutheran the necessary balance to make another title push.

Keep rewriting Sidlo’s scouting report. This Lincoln Lutheran standout introduced herself to the Nebraska prep scene as a high-flying middle blocker who helped the Warriors to last fall’s state title. Sidlo’s freshman campaign could not have prepared us for the setter role she has embraced with VCNebraska 15 Elite. This rare combination of skills makes Sidlo one of Nebraska’s most fascinating 2027 prospects, and she kept elevating her stock at GJNC.

Setter or middle blocker? This is not a question you’d frequently pose on the club volleyball scene, but Sidlo makes her mark in this unique dual role. She burst onto the prep scene with her explosive middle attack that helped Lincoln Lutheran clinch another state title. We were dazzled by Sidlo’s physicality and lateral quickness last fall, but that only scratched the surface of her incredible range. Sidlo is now taking on setting duties for VCNebraska 15 Elite while also finding her groove as a serving specialist. A bid-earning triumph at MEQ has prepared Sidlo for anything as 15 Elite heads to Vegas.
