Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a scrappy, fast and competitive player. When I step on the court, everything around me fades away and I’m able to focus on the ball in play. I will support my teammates however they need while making sure the team is running smoothly.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is go big or go home. I’m always putting 100% out on the court and no ball goes un-hustled for. I love to have fun with my teammates, but I make sure to stay serious and competitive when needed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer at the Escondido Children's Discovery museum, as well as at Wave Volleyball’s “ripple program”.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m an excellent leader and I’m able to command and provide assistance whenever its needed. Growing up camping with the YMCA, I’ve had multiple opportunities were I was able to showcase my teamwork and leadership. In 2nd grade, I organized a 5k and donated over 1000$ to the Bread of Life homeless shelter, allowing me to express my love for nature and helping others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced is my height. I’ve had to make the tough decision to focus mainly out being a Libero/DS because of this setback. While I spend countless of hours increasing to vertical, training to lift heavier, and working on my agility, being 5”6 is still a major setback. Even with this challenge, I believe its made me a better player overall.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a competitive, large school that has a beautiful campus and pre-law courses available. I would like a non-toxic environment with teammates and coaches I can trust like brothers and sisters.
