The junior libero anchors the back row with confidence, providing calm, consistent touches that keep rallies alive and allow her teammates to transition in rhythm. She pairs energy with discipline, making her presence felt in every rotation. For young liberos, she is the type of defensive leader worth studying closely as she continues to refine her game heading into the rest of the season. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

Please officially welcome Miss Green to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 23rd best overall player according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays at Torrey Pines High School and for the Wave volleyball club program. This young lady has been on our radar for a while now and we are pleased to have her listed amongst the best in the state. Not only did she make the list, but she shot up the charts into the top 23. There have to be volleyball magnets imbedded in her arms because her platform always seems to find the ball before it hits the ground. She has it all when it comes to the tangible and intangible assets you would want in a premier libero. Her court awareness is top tier and it is matched by her ball control. I love how her platform is positioned well away from her body when the ball is in flight coming towards her. This give her ample space to operate and create some awesome angles in order to rebound the ball to her setter in order to run offense during serve receive. Defensively she has some of the fastest reflexes that I have seen in a while to use emergency techniques to keep the ball in play. Deflections off of the block are no problem for her as she is able to change direction fast and shoot one or both arms toward the ball. This year she has proven herself to be one of the best in the position. I strongly suggest every college coach gives her some looks. Please help us congratulate her on her achievement of being listed amongst the great players of this state.

is a baddie who truly gets down and dirty in the back row. She is fully dialed in and committed to doing her job with precision. When the ball enters her zone, Green exhibits complete control over her platform, effortlessly adjusting her body to get the ball up, no matter the angle. Her court dominance is undeniable, and it’s clear her setters have complete confidence in her ability to handle any defensive challenge, allowing them to focus on running the offense.
What truly sets Green apart is her relentless drive to follow through after each successful dig. Rather than simply celebrating her defensive plays, she immediately transitions into excellent coverage for her hitters, ensuring they have every opportunity to attack. This proactive mentality not only makes her a rock in the back row but also contributes to the overall fluidity of her team’s offense. For college coaches, Green’s defensive reliability, paired with her continuous hustle, makes her an invaluable asset and a true baddie on the court. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

Lila is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List. She plays volleyball at Torrey Pines High School and plays club for the WAVE volleyball program. I am not sure why teams kept trying to serve toward her because her ball control was on point to say the least. This squad was always in system due to her amazing angles and soft contact with her platform to keep the ball on her side of the court. Time and time again she showed just how dangerous her game is with “three” passes to target. I didn’t stat the games I watched but I would bet some hard earned money her passing average was well above a 2.4 for the entire tournament. She was able to take up a lot of space on the court and this allowed her front row attacker who was pulling back to focus mainly on a smaller zone of serve receive responsibility so that they were in a better position to transition to attack. This is part of the game that will not be recognized by any stat sheet, but it is an invaluable tool for a team to put themselves in a successful overall playing scheme.

has a deep-rooted passion for volleyball, having played the sport for as long as she can remember. Transitioning from soccer to volleyball, she found a greater affinity for the sport’s close-knit interactions on the court versus on the field. Her talent shines particularly in serve receives, where she excels in reading angles and executing disciplined split steps to ensure accurate passes.
During our conversation, Lila shared an interesting fact about herself – she manages Type 1 diabetes, requiring careful management of her health between games and tournaments with an insulin pump. This additional responsibility has instilled in her a unique mental discipline that sets her apart from other athletes. Despite the challenges, Lila maintains a highly competitive spirit while also valuing fun and camaraderie on the court.
Looking forward to her collegiate journey, Lila is eager to use college to broaden her horizons and meet new people, all while maintaining her enthusiasm for the collegiate volleyball experience.
Colleges seeking a player with exceptional technical ability, strong mental fortitude, and a genuine passion for volleyball should prioritize
