Setters Who Ran the Show at the Gauntlet: Part 1

The Gauntlet was stacked with talent, and the setters were no different. They were smart, savvy, and impressive to watch. Here are some of the setters who ran the show at the Gauntlet.    Kameron brings a lot of experience and finesse to the court. She knows exactly where her hitters are and how to set them up for success. Kameron was impressive to watch at the 17 Open Division, which was incredibly competitive.     April is an awesome setter to watch play. She is a lefty who runs a 5-1. She has an offensive mindset and is not afraid to swing at balls when she is in the front row. She holds a lot of blockers and gives her hitters great looks because she is such a weapon herself. She is a high-level setter who will have a huge impact at the collegiate level.     Alexa is a clean setter with huge potential. She has really sound fundamentals and a clean touch on the ball. Her court awareness is impressive, and she spreads her offense well. She is a really valuable setter who would be a great pick-up for a college program.     Sidney runs the court very well. She is confident and consistent with her sets, and she brings a positive demeanor to the court. She is another athlete who could be a big pick-up in the class of 2025.     I have never seen Billie look as confident and high-level on the court as I did at the Gauntlet. Keep in mind that Billie is a top-10 ranked player in her class in Wisconsin and incredibly talented, so for her to come out and impress me in the way she did says a lot about the work she puts in. Her decision-making was spot-on throughout the Gauntlet, and she really pushed the pace of her offense.     Nikolija had an awesome weekend at the Gauntlet. She is so good at finding her middles, which keeps opposing blockers honest. She is also very offensive and is not afraid to put the ball over on two, especially when she is in the front row. Nikolija is one of the top recruits in her class and it showed in her play at the Gauntlet.     Addison is a setter who is tall, has a great touch on the ball, and never misses a beat. She is smart, savvy, and incredibly hard to read. She runs the court like a seasoned pro and seems to know where opposing blockers are. She is a consistent force on the court and has a lot of potential.     Kenlee is a setter who will impress for many years to come. She has near-infinite potential and was a key player at the Gauntlet. Kenlee is nationally ranked, and with good reason. She plays at a very high level and is always looking for ways to give her teammates great opportunities to earn points.     Kenley played as a setter and right side during the Gauntlet. She is a natural leader on the court and really was the glue for her team. Her athletic talent, energy, and drive on the court really set her apart. She impressed me throughout the tournament and was a stand-out player.     Sydney manages to improve every time I see her play. She has a quick touch on the ball and is very quick and athletic. Her solid footwork really helps her get behind balls when she is on the run. Sydney will run down any ball and is a reliable teammate.     Emma exploded onto my radar at the Gauntlet. She is another nationally ranked setter, and it showed. Emma is a lefty who swings in the front row and sets in the back row for Michigan Elite. She is gritty and scrappy and plays with a lot of heart and passion. She runs the offense well and is very competitive and aggressive on every play.     Allie is the setter opposite of Emma Keeping for Michigan Elite, and she is incredibly talented in her own respect. Allie is very clean and fundamentally sound. What really impressed me about her play was her ability to push the middle even when she was off the net. She is an athlete with huge potential.
