About Kenlee
Expert Analysis
Kyp Harasymowycz | Prep Dig Scout
Leading off our list of available setters is, far and away, one of the best setters in the class of ’26, committed or not. When talking about her sheer skill, the list is long—well-trained, long arms, long strides to get to out-of-system passing, great set location and able to find the right hitters in the right situation. Kenlee is tall, strong, makes smart choices, is an above-average blocker and has played an open-level schedule for years, making her the ideal choice for a plug-and-play option for the fall of ’26. Dedication and work ethic are also high values in her skill set; she lives in Evansville and trains at Team Indiana, a tough commute to be sure. To be frank, I’m surprised that she’s still available, as Miss Barnard will be a steal for someone next fall.

Traveling a LONG way for club ball, Kenlee is a big, physical and accurate setter that is the most college ready among the kids that are currently available. Her hands are high, she’s accurate with her set placement, and always finds the favorable matchup with her hitters. Defensively, she’s a problem to go against, considering her size, ability to take up space on the block, and her ability to read opposing hitters. I’m also a fan of her going over on two, as her height is a huge advantage in this area. Kenlee is also one of the few in this class that can go get an overpass and turn it into a hittable ball.

Arguably the top uncommitted setter remaining in the class of ’26, Kenlee is a tall and fluid 5-1 setter that has size and a high volleyball IQ. Her distribution of accurate sets looks easy (trust me, it’s not), and she can do just that regardless of where the pass ends up. Under stress, she does tend to push the outside sets a little past the pin, but for the most part, this is a plug-and-play setter for the next level, with college size and skill to boot.

From the shortest to the tallest setter on this list, Kenlee is a transfer from Circle that needed (1) a fresh start, and (2) an opportunity to play for a 1s team. More than capable of doing the latter, Miss Barnard is the most capable of the available setters to go get tight passes and turn them into something for her hitters. On defense, she’s tough to deal with at the net, and is consistent with her defensive play on the floor. Overall, Kenlee simply looks the part of Division 1 setter, and it’s only a matter of time before the offers start rolling in.

As a recent transfer from Circle City, this young lady travels a LONG way to get high-level training. Kenlee is the principal setter on TI’s top 17s team, and her size and athleticism shine through when she’s in charge. She’s big enough to get the tight passes, athletic enough to get to out-of-system passes off of the net, and more than capable of running a faster-than-average offense for her hitters and the team’s overall offensive system. She’s a nice size for a mid-major Division I program, and could be a plug-and-play option for the class of ’26 for anyone needing a solid, big and athletically sound setter.

Kenlee caught my eye with her natural blocking talent. She has great timing and a consistent press. Kenlee made it tough for opponents to earn points, and she rarely got tooled. She also is an impact hitter. She takes good swings, limits mistakes, and knows when to take risks with her shots. She is athletic with a lot of power and potential.

Barnard takes a strong swing along the power alley. She does a nice job getting her feet to the ball and reaching to make a nice high contact point before taking a fast swing in the split. Barnard can also put up a big block and make things difficult for the opposing attackers.
