Dallas Freshman Showcase Snapshots

Here is a snapshot of some of the standouts to keep on your radar for the upcoming prep season:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Outside Hitter&nbsp; 5'8” [player_tooltip player_id='580690' first='Lacey' last='Jones'] has a fast arm and runs the slide well. She can jump and terminate the ball quickly. Her athleticism will be a huge advantage on the right side. Jones plays club for [program_tooltip program_id='431308' first='Texas' last='Advantage'] Volleyball (TAV) and will attend Coppell High School. Love her explosiveness and ability to terminate!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lefty [player_tooltip player_id='579842' first='Sadie' last='Lovato'], a 5'8” setter, is really athletic and plays really good floor defense. She also has a great driving serve that can rack up the aces. Lovato also has great hands and can run tempo. Being a lefty she is not afraid to kill that second ball either. Love her aggressiveness at the net! Lovato will attend Nolan Catholic High School and plays club for Skyline 15 Royal.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>5'10” Setter Olivia Ambeau is a lengthy setter. Her wrists are strong and she sets effortlessly from wherever on the court. If she plays Right Side she is strong and takes big rips at the ball Ambeau has a great serve. Love her aggressiveness when setting or attacking! Add her to the list of athletic Setters in the Dallas area! Ambeau will attend Cabot High School and plays club for 501 Volleyball.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>You can find [player_tooltip player_id='531615' first='Aleah' last='Edmond'] taking huge swings at the net. She has the ability to find the ball and get behind it to take a big swing. The 5'11” freshman to be, also has long levers and moves well across the net and in the back row. One of her strengths is also jousting at the net. Edmond will attend Flower Mound High School and plays club for Skyline 15 Royal. Love her versatility and length!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='580645' first='Alena' last='Tran'] has what it takes at the Libero position as well. She has great hands. The&nbsp; 5'1” Tran has a&nbsp; steady and confident demeanor that made her standout on Sunday. She will do whatever to keep a ball up. She is not afraid either to play defense with her hands and better the ball. Love how she brings a calming presence to the floor and will be a huge asset to Berkner High School this fall.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lake Belton High School will enjoy [player_tooltip player_id='543947' first='Haylee' last='Kasner'] this fall. The 5'6” freshman has a great serve and takes big swings at the net. Kasner is also very powerful wherever she is on the floor. She also has a great platform and is consistent in serve receive.
