About Claire

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very passionate player who is willing to always give everything and strive for greatness when playing volleyball!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a bubbly person who loves making new friends/teammates and I absolutely love to be other players “hype man”! I have so much motivation to become the best athlete i can be, and always try my hardest.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the National Honor Society and HOSA (future health professionals)!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A skill that is a strong-suit for me is leadership. i was the captain of my 14’s and 15’s club team and truly love to lead the team to success. i believe that the strongest of leaders will always find a way to make the best of a situation and guide the team to success.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

my 15’s year i overcame many injuries to my ankle. i sat on the bench hyping up my teammates for most qualifiers and nationals which was upsetting. although it was tough to not be able to play, i realized that i still played a vital role to the team, which was hyping everyone up. i truly learned how to make the best of the situation and to always appreciate what i have.

What type of college are you looking for?

not only would i love to go to a smaller d1 school, but i would love to go to a school which allows me to excel in academics.

The Plano West middle stands out defensively, always pressing at the net and ready to capitalize on overpasses. Offensively, she shows great awareness by using the opposing block to her advantage, often scoring with tool kills. One of her most effective and exciting swings is her sharp cutback to the setter, especially after a quick transition off the net. Her consistency and ability to impact both sides of the game make her a difference-maker for her team. She’s a strong presence on our watch list and a player worth following closely this season.
