Faith pounded 36 Kills during the game against Omaha Westside, 16 Digs
Broke the Lincoln Pius X school record for Kills.
Hit 1,000 assists in game on October 3rd vs Bellevue. Has a school record for most assists in a game with 64. Team leader in assists this season with over 650.
Highlights
Broke a school record! Hayleigh is a 6-rotation OH for her Varsity team. We had a crucial district game to secure a spot in playoffs and keep in contention for 1st place. We went to 5 sets and were down 5-10 in the 5th set. Hayleigh rotated to the front row and absolutely crushed the ball. She scored 5 kills in less than 5 minutes and helped bring the score to 13-12. This also broke a school record and she finished the game with 27 kills! She also had her 5th double-double of the season and finished the game with 27 kills, 26 digs, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 3 assists with 46 serves received.
Highlights
Breeze broke the John Handley High School record for total kills in a game with 33 kills in a 4-set victory over District rival, Sherando, on Tuesday. She hit .500 and also had 12 digs and 5 aces in the win. Breeze originally broke the 8-year standing kill record just two weeks prior in a 3-set win over Liberty with 32 kills. Breeze has posted double-digit kills in all 17 games played this season.

Sophie is winding down regular season with 2 games left and is currently sitting at 429 kills and a .383 hitting efficiency. She is averaging 25.6 kills per game and 12.1 digs per game. This week against Radford she amassed 32 kills and 24 digs, 19 kills and 8 digs against Fort Chiswell, and 25 kills (unsure of digs at this time) against Bland. So has accumulated 76 kills this week! Sophie is a junior at Giles High School in Pearisburg, Va.

Annabella Ames
Annabella Ames has made incredible plays in order to lead her team to the league title for Marine City. It has been insane to watch her incredible saves and extravagant kills. She beat THE SCHOOL RECORD with 20 kills in a game and had multiple blocks. She is an outside who plays all the way around and this is her first year back since two knee surgeries.
On Monday, September 9th she hit her 1000 high school career kills and then on September 14th at a tournament she got her 1000 high school career digs that day.
