About Ivy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Ivy is a 15-year-old, standing tall at 5’11, dominates both as a middle blocker and an opposite hitter. She is a very versatile player, with a high volleyball IQ.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Ivy is always positive on and off of the court. She brings a upbeat energy to her team and peers, always pushing herself and others to their very best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Ivy serves on the Student Council board as class of 2028 Treasurer. She also is on the honor roll for the 2024-2025 school year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Ivy has developed strong leadership and organizational skills, especially through planning and executing fundraisers. Ivys teamwork skills shine through her ability to communicate openly, listen actively, and encourage others to share ideas.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Moving from California in middle school was challenging, however it sparked an unexpected interest in volleyball. Having been a tennis player most of her life, finding a team sport like volleyball was such a blessing for Ivy, she looks forward to all the new challenges that come her way.

What type of college are you looking for?

Ivy is looking for a college in a big city environment where school spirit and community are strong. She is also looking to play at a large sports school, with a lively campus. Where she can grow as an athlete, while making meaningful connections both on and off the court.
