How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player who works hard to improve every game and to make my teammates better everyday. I give 100% on the court and look to improve all aspects of my game through lessons, small groups, and training. I have been a six rotation player with a strong serve, good blocking ability and aggressive on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am quiet off the court until I get to know you, but on the court I work to be a leader through hard work, determination, and encouragement of my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I work at Mintonette Sports helping to run their volleytots (ages 5-7) program every week and volunteer at W.A.R.M. ministries in Columbus, Ohio. As I am a freshman, I am looking to get involved in additional school activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been working on developing my leadership skills on and off the court. I work to help organize team events off the court and ensure we have communication systems set up for our team. On the court, I work to encourage my teammates through positivity and by setting an example through hard work on the court.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my 13s season, we found out that I had OCD in my knee, essentially blood was not flowing properly. I had to sit out for six months for surgery and to do physical therapy. I only missed one practice and attended every tournament to support my team and learn by assisting the coach. This is not an injury that can reoccur and since the surgery I've been doing great!

What type of college are you looking for?

I want a college where I can learn a lot as a player, have a strong team of girls to learn from and grow with, and a coach who pushes us to be the best we can. I'd like a school where I can major in physical therapy and meet a lot of new people!
