About Bri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High-energy, aggressive, and scrappy. I'm super competitive, especially in defense, and I'm reliable in both the front and back row. I go after tough plays, I'm not afraid to put in the work, and I bring intensity and consistency to the court every time I play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to go as hard as I can, and I like to be surrounded by people who also go 100%. Once the game or practice starts, I go into a zone where anything outside of the game can not distract me. I am a funny person and I make people laugh. And game are fun to go 100% and go hard but they are aslo fun when you have fun and laugh.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm apart of my school's Yearbook Organization

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am good at Adaptability, last year my team neede an outside. I had never played outside before I was a setter, but I stepped up and played outside. I am a good leader. I have a really good work Ethic and I have discipline. And I am a good teammate, I will cheer on my team if they are doing amazing and even if they are not doing amazing. But I will always help them if needed and be a good friend.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I broke my ankle playing volleyball right before going to nationals my 14's year, and I tried my best to get back for my school season but the surgery I had took to long to heal. So after my surgery, I went to Physical Therapy 2 times a week, did my exercises at home, and got back to volleyball a lot quicker than anyone could have expected.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to go to a big D1 college, for example, I want to go to the University of Texas, I want a bigger campus, but not in the middle of nowhere. Somewhere this is places within like a 30 minute drive,

Bush arrived on the radar recently, thankfully. She is a dynamic pin attacker for Mintonette m.62 with good all-around skills both front and back row. As an attacker, she is very intentional in how she approaches and closes to the set where she can lift and swing with torque to create some big heat. Her athleticism leads her effort defensively and in her ball control, all areas through which she can give a big lift to her team.
