Past Prep Dig Nebraska Showcase Standouts Gaining Momentum

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Consider this a prelude to this weekend's event.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As our <a href="https://prepdig.com/2024/11/whats-on-prep-dig-nebraskas-december-agenda/">December agenda</a> mentioned, we look forward to covering this Saturday's Prep Dig Top 250 Expo in La Vista. This annual winter showcase gives us great insight into which players are making gains heading into the club season. It's also a way to place new faces on our radar.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To get us in the mood for Saturday's expo, we're highlighting a few Prep Dig Showcase "alums" who have climbed the ladder to wrap up 2024. She made the move to Lincoln Lutheran and made an instant splash in the stacked Warrior frontcourt. The Wilber-Clatonia transfer racked up over two kills per set on a 0.342 clip en route to another Lincoln Lutheran triumph in Class C2. Before that, Kuhlmann showed her readiness for championship-level volleyball when she appeared on our expo stage. The Tri-County star just wrapped up a junior season highlighted by nearly six digs per set and even more perfect passes. Kopf has also stood out on the club stage with [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''], helping her team secure some noteworthy qualifier breakthroughs. She had a breakout campaign this spring and showed her high-flying termination again on the Prep Dig Circuit. This was the prelude to Johnson earning starting reps with Lincoln East this fall, and she paid off that opportunity with triple-digit kills. The Seward athlete is making her case to join the 2027 rankings after putting down two kills per set in her first two seasons with Seward High School. Her effortless elevation and all-around skills made her an incredible asset in team drills. Meints had an effective freshman campaign with Beatrice High School but flourished as a sophomore. She bumped her scoring average to 3.3 kills per set this fall and led her orange-clad squad to big victories down the stretch. She started with an impactful club season with Club Legacy 15 Alpha, which succeeded on the regional stage. Samuelson then appeared at our summer showcase and exhibited her physical dominance in the middle. Redden jumped onto our 2027 watch list after her strong performance at this summer's Omaha showcase. Her precise location helped whichever hitters she was paired with, but the fun didn't stop there. Redden piloted Wayne High School this fall and had one of the highest assist totals among Nebraska underclassmen.
