Briana Isham Briana Isham 6'3" | MB Rosehill Christian | 2026 TX , standing at 6’3”, is a versatile middle blocker and right-side hitter who brings a high level of competitive energy to the court. She is a constant offensive threat, capable of swinging with power both up the middle and from the right side, keeping defenses off balance. Her height and timing make her a formidable presence at the net, allowing her to produce big blocks and consistently score points with well-timed hits. Briana also excels at controlling the pace of the game, earning key slow-down points that shift momentum in her team’s favor. With her combination of size, athleticism, and intensity, she is a player who can impact every aspect of the match and is someone to watch closely this season.

Isham and her HJV 17 Premier teammates will appear in the 17 USA division of the event in Utah. A towering 6’3″ middle, she can dominate the net for her team and makes a tremendous impact with her blocking. Isham’s size certainly helps her shut opponents down, but there’s a lot of technique and intelligence in her defensive actions too as she’s very quick to react and plays aggresively above the net. She also does well offensively, consistently making contact with the ball at a very high point and hitting over the top of opposing blockers. The middle had solid ball control as well and can get some digs when on the backcourt.

Briana is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  With what we saw at the Expo, she will definitely be in the running the next time I update them.  She plays volleyball at Rosehill Christian High School and plays club for the Houston Juniors volleyball program.  Miss Isham put on a display out of the middle that was just flat out dominant on both ends.  From the start of the event, her power, form, and technique was on full display in the individual drills.  I loved everything I saw from her during the entire two hours. She drives insanely hard toward her setter to make sure that she is on time for a super fast tempo set out of the middle.  Her court coaches mentioned how positive she was in every drill and that says a lot about her character.  I had the opportunity to interview her and was very impressed with her demeanor in handling the questions with poise.  She is definitely a player that we will be keeping our eye on this club season and you should also.  In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Most Valuable Player award and a Top Performer award at the Expo.
