Obinwa played for the HJV 18 Premier team that ended up in second place with three wins and a loss. Long and athletic, she did very well offensively, making the most of her high contact point, picking her shots well and showing an interesting ability to hit sharp angles while keeping her errors very low. Obinwa also made an impact with her blocking, pressing opponents at the pin and taking up a lot of space from them above the net. The right side hitter also showed good mobility and ball control to peel off the net and produce some digs.
