Ohio Top 250 Expo: Players to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A total of 47 players signed up to attend the annual event at the [program_tooltip program_id='431777' first='Eastside' last='Cleveland Volleyball'] Club on Sunday morning.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They will be coming from schools all over Ohio with a few from one in Pennsylvania. A boarding school called Spire Academy in Geneva saw eight players sign up. Parr is reliable to make things happen both in and out of system. Parr does a good job setting her feet then making the necessary adjustments with her net approach to hit balls away from defenders. That includes pushing balls to open parts of the court. Parr can make smooth passes then quickly transition back to offense. Parr is also a solid blocker for Colonel Crawford. Parr is turning into a sound blocker. Parr can read hitters and time the hits well to deny them from coming across the net. She can do what is asked of her. Miller constantly hustles on the court trying to track down balls, then transition to offense quickly. Miller constantly finds ways around double blocks to different parts of the court. Miller can set things up when the team is out of system. She uses her athleticism to put the right touches on balls. She knows when to smack balls hard then take some things off the next one. Garrett is always moving her feet trying to better balls each time she touches them. Garrett takes long passes at the pins and buries them down the lines. Garrett makes things happen from the back row. She puts her team in good position to run a smooth offensive attack with crisp passes. Everetts sends balls flying to the back row on short and long sets, including crease shots and shoves balls to the lines when the openings are there. Everetts does a good job using her size to her advantage. Everetts makes opponents tip over her. That helps out the defense.
