About Lexiana
Expert Analysis
Bob Abels | Prep Dig Scout
Lexiana recently won a top performer award at our Exposure showcase in Richmond. Originally, she was going to play for the 17 team, but the 18 team lacked a third middle. Lexiana’s primary position is right side, but she has played middle. Her versatility made her an ideal fit for this roster. Her back row play seems to be limited. in the matches I have watched.
With her 6’0″ height she has an approach jump of close to 9’10”. Lexianna has yet to commit.

attended the first Virginia Prep Dig showcase held at St. James in Arlington way back in 2023. After that she moved to Ohio. She has returned to Virginia, growing a couple inches to 6’0″ while moving from middle to right side. Upon her return she debuted in the rankings at number 41.
She puts up a good block on the right side, reaching 9’2″ with her block jump. Her approach jump rises to 9’9″. With more strength training and conditioning those numbers should rise. Her middle experience allows her to sneak in for quick tempo attacks from the pin positions. Lexiana is a dedicated athlete who works hard at her craft.
This past high school season Lexiana played for Colonial Forge. They lost in five sets to Colgan in the semi-finals of the Regional play, one win shy of qualifying for States. This club season Lexiana will play one year up for Virginia Elite 18.

Technically she is not new to the rankings. Lexianna attended the first Prep Dig showcase at St. James a couple years ago. While she did not earn a top performer award she still appeared in our rankings. The next year she moved to Ohio.
She has returned to Virginia coming in at number 41. That is the highest debut of any player added to the class of 2027. At one point prior to her departure she ranked at number 32 in the class of 2027. She will play one year up with Virginia Elite 18. On the roster she is listed as an outside/opposite but she has played middle in the past.
An athletic player who can put the ball down. The biggest unknown is her ability to pass if she plays left side.

The 6’0 Everetts is increasingly making more of an impact for her team as a highly engaged and active middle. Competing for Infinity 16 Green, she has a good athletic foundation. As she continues to gain more training and competitive experience, she is also looking more assertive and confident in what she can do with her versatility and tools on both sides of the ball. I look forward to more opportunities to watch her compete and especially want to see how well she does against high quality competition in their upcoming schedule.

This class seems to flow with talented middles. Lexiana qualifies as a sleeper. Next year she hopes to fill the middle spot for class 5 state champion Colonial Forge. She currently ranks number 32 in our class of 2027. Still working on improving that polish running the quicks.
One of the players who stood out from the first DMV showcase.
