Houston Top 250 Expo Top Performers Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are now underway with our awesome series of showcases across the country.  Up next was our Houston Top 250 Expo at the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] Volleyball club practice facility in Spring, TX.  This series of articles is to highlight those players who earned an award from our court coaches and scouts that were in attendance.  The one aspect that sets our showcases apart from every other one in the country is how we offer coverage, before, during, and after it is completed.  Without further ado, here are a few players who were named Top Performers at the showcase.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["493335"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6765dd016121c"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Karsyn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Barbers Hill High School and plays club for the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] volleyball program.  We had written an article about players to watch at the Expo and Karsyn was one of them.  We knew that she was going to do some great things due to our research.  Our prognostication came true as she delivered some fast paced pursuit of the ball all over the court.  You can really see how well she listens to her high school and club coaches when you notice how disciplined her defensive posture is.  She moves very well without raising her shoulders high.  This is a skill that not a lot of defenders possess and I wish they did.  It is considered extra unnecessary movement that eats into the time needed to get in a better position or create a better angle.  When I watch Miss St. John, I see very fast and calculated movements that allow her to be super efficient when digging.  She is someone to watch for sure.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["613168"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6765dd01612a5"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Finley is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List.  She plays volleyball at Providence Classical High School and club for the Renegades volleyball program. The lengthy pin can ball on the offensive end and all of our court coaches and scouts realized this at the Expo.  I really like how high she reaches during her attack.  By having a contact point, it makes it very difficult for blockers to time her swing.  She showed some nice pop on the ball, which made her very dangerous to anyone who went up against her squad during the scrimmage portion.  Even when the ball was slightly behind her during out of system plays, Finley proved to be able to still use her shoulders well in order to hit an aggressive ball over to the opposition.  What stood out to me was how she hardly ever had her heels hit the floor during transition from the net, which kept her very fast from dig/block to attack.  I also loved how she had a pretty fast first step to the ball and was decisive when she needed to speed up for out of system balls.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at the Expo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["700562"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6765dd0161302"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Morgan is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball at Kingwood Park High School and club for the [program_tooltip program_id='462263' first='TAV' last='Houston'] program.  Miss Galik was a standout in all phases of the Expo and many of our coaches and scouts agreed that she was a no brainer for this award.  We have seen her hit a higher tempo on the pins and in the middle, but it was very refreshing to see her speed up her tempo in the middle and be more of a quicker threat on offense.  The faster that she is able to speed up, the more efficient she will be at killing the ball or at the very least she will provide some firepower for her team this season.  We think she has a good ceiling to keep improving from what we saw of her skill set during the two hours of the showcase.  She impressed us so much that she earned this awesome award.  Please help me congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this Expo. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes that will be attending the showcase.  If you have anyone you think we should watch out for, please shoot me an email with some info at <a href="mailto:Michael@prepdig.com">Michael@prepdig.com</a>.  Also don't forget to help these kids get more exposure by sharing our stories with your friends.  Help us help them by simply reposting on X or Instagram or sharing on Facebook.  Thanks for following Prep Dig Family!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
