PrepDig Resolution 15s: Setters that Shined on Day 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Day 2 of the PrepDig Resolution was on fire as teams competed in bracket play. Being the setter is often fun but can also be stressful. In tense competition, setters need to keep their cool and lead their teams….and these setters did just that. Leighty has quick feet, can track down balls anywhere on the court, and has a knack for finding her middles even when off the net. Wiskirchen is very quick, can track down out of system balls with ease, and made smart setting decisions to give her hitters the best opportunity to score. She is a setter that goes after every ball. She has a quick release, set a good tempo to her hitters, and delivered balls in great locations that provided her hitters with optimal opportunity to score. She works hard to get her hands on every ball, has good footwork, and knows how to spread out the offense to all her hitters. She made good connections with each. She hustles after every ball and uses her quick hands to deliver a clean ball to her hitters. Ostrenga is also a smart setter. She reads the defense well and could often be seen being an offense threat herself.
