Kerstyn was a fun setter to watch. She wasn’t afraid to set against the grain and kept all of her hitters involved throughout a match. I watched several of FC’s matches throughout AAU Nationals, and Kerstyn was a constant presence on the court. She pushed the envelope with her sets, catching opposing blockers of guard. Kerstyn is the kind of player who goes all out no matter the score and trusts her hitters to get the job done. Kerstyn helped her team to a 3rd place finish.

Kerstyn is already playing with the composure of a varsity veteran. Her hands are incredibly smooth, making every set look effortless, whether she’s in-system or on the move. What sets her apart is her ability to stay calm under pressure and make smart decisions that keep her hitters in rhythm. She’s clearly a floor leader, and it’s easy to forget she’s only a freshman with how naturally she runs the offense.

Ott is a fiery lefty setter that is fun to watch. She works hard to get her hands on every ball, has good footwork, and knows how to spread out the offense to all her hitters. She made good connections with each. Ott also has a good float serve that is difficult for opposing teams to handle.
