High-Scoring Right Sides at the Nike Cross Court Classic

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the biggest club tournaments annually held in Houston, the Nike Cross Court Classic is just around the corner, with the 2025 edition of the event set to take place this weekend, from Saturday to Sunday, at the George R Brown Convention Center, in Downtown.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Cross Court Classic is a gigantic event, which registered over 700 entries this year and will have teams from all over Texas and many neighboring states competing for two days in one of its 30 divisions.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas will be following the action closely during the weekend and reporting on the top teams and most exciting prospects, but, before we get there, let's get to know some of the most talented players who will be in action. She has a strong presence at the net and gets to impact the game on both sides of the ball with her length and efficiency. Parrish has a very skilled right arm, which she uses extremely well to adjust to any sets and to elude blockers. When in system, she makes a very strong approach and does a great job of looking across the net and figuring out what opponents are trying to do to stop her before swinging. Very physical and strong, she scores at a good clip for the team, swinging with power and finding great angles to beat blockers and defenders. A lefty, she's very explosive with her approach and, because of her excellent footwork, is always an option on the right, even in transition plays. Dall'Oglio has a variety of shots to put the ball down and can be very powerful with her swings, but she also does an excellent job of adjusting to short sets and finding solutions to tight sets. A lefty with tremendous offensive range, she typically carries their offense, getting a fair share of sets and also being the one to get on the ball in key moments of matches. Porath uses her length extremely well and is very good at using her arm speed to tool blockers when in difficult situations. Her sharp angle swings are really difficutl to stop and she's also very smart with her tips, often catching blockers and defenders off guard.
