We've released the new-and-improved rankings list for the class of '26 recently, and with that comes the revelation of those that have significantly risen their personal stock. For some, that went from "solid athlete" to "committed player". Here are five players from five different clubs that bet on themselves---and won.

From primary-passing outside for her high school team to a steady and consistent libero for her club program, Rylee has moved quickly from exceptional small-school player to Division 1 recruit in committing to Valparaiso recently. Always in the right spot and always under control, Valpo gets a reliable and efficient passer that can do a little of everything in a pinch.

Two years ago, Bailey was a high-flying outside hitter whose mom was a coach. Now Bailey is teaching us all a thing or two about how the game should be played and what it looks like to persevere, work hard, and truly EARN it. 4A State Champ and First-Team All-State honoree Bailey has earned her commitment to up-and-coming program IU Indy, who made the Horizon Conference tournament for the first time since I can remember, and will only get better with Bailey's arrival in the fall of '26. A quiet attacker, Bailey's game speaks for itself, and the Jaguars stay in-state with this outstanding athlete.

We regularly missed Georgia at our showcases, and for good reason---she was recovering from injury each time we held one. I almost didn't recognize her at MEPLs in Muncie in January, and boy, what a change she's made now that she's healthy. Fully entrenched in the lightning-fast offense of Academy's 17-1, Miss Bresnahan has a high and hard swing to go with a quick transition and perfected footwork. She really showed out at the Triple Crown a few weeks ago, and played every bit of the high-level outside that she's projecting to be at the next level. Her stock will continue to rise once she perfects serve receive, as that will complete the full picture of her capabilities.

Big and physical, Maezi has slowly changed from the nice big kid in the middle to a faster, tougher version of what big middles should be. Easily found on Boiler Juniors' 17-1 squad, she's already head-and-shoulders (literally) better than a lot of middles playing in the open division here in Indiana, and she's done enough traveling throughout the midwest to show everyone what she's made of. I love how this kid has developed, and has even added a bit of pace behind the ball when attacking.

Makenzie's rise has been because of her innate talent---she's a left-handed middle. Able to terminate in front of the setter with ease, she might do best with a college program that can have her hit multiple positions. Playing bigger than her 5'10" frame, her arms and jumping ability really define what she can become---and effective and big attacker in three rotations. She has definitely improved in the blocking department, too. Long arms and her read-and-react style have caught our eye as a unique middle for the next level.
