Marshall (pictured) is probably the biggest addition to this round of the rankings. Marshall stepped into a huge role for the Purples in the fall and came through in a big way to help Bowling Green go on a deep postseason run. Marshall mixes up short and long sets including a number of back sets without leaning to tip off blockers. Marshall continues to put her teammates in position to succeed. She is also solid on defense hustling then squaring her arms up to them for solid two to three-point passes. Marshall had 973 assists and 146 digs to help Bowling Green go 34-7, win the 14th District and 4th Region crowns and drive to the state quarterfinals.

Lipsett is turning into a solid hitter for the A.61 team. Lipsett does a solid job finding different ways to put balls down. Lipsett smacks balls down on one play then taps them to open parts of the court on the next play. She is also a nice passer and her blocking has improved during club season. Lipsett led Tates Creek with 259 kills and added 128 digs this past fall.

Roberts has been working on trying to contribute all around during high school and club season. Roberts has a nice jump serve and does a good job starting up the attack with crisp first passes. She stays on her feet most of the time, but can make one-armed diving saves when needed. Roberts makes good in-air adjustments to put balls past defenders.

Franzen continues to display marked improvement throughout club season. That includes big improvements with her speed. She is a good swing blocker trying to disrupt things at the net and takes sound swings. Franzen goes up with a purpose and swings hard sending balls to different parts of the court. She also has a tough sinking line drive serve.

Jett is turning the corner during the club season trying to step into a huge role for the Colonels in the fall. Jett has picked up her defense in a number of ways from reading balls better to staying on her feet to control balls. Jett sends balls across the net with a purpose.
