Her natural gifts in her length at 6'1 and her athleticism to get up and maximize her high contact point are a big asset to her contributions. She has a high ceiling to become a big power side threat with a simple goal to get up and terminate with each attempt. Her confidence exudes in her command of the court and of an NKYVC offense that has a lot of weapons. As she shares the setting role for this group, their ball control is solid, which makes the setters job more manageable to keep their tempo fast and their options varied through both pins, which she does a great job at in all locations. The 6'3 left side attacker is a handful for defenses given her length and touch point. Earning over 900 total assists in 2024 alone, she averaged 10.7 a/s. She dished 47 assists in the state championship match as the Cougars claimed another title in a 3-1 win. Starr is a savvy distributor as she has good footwork to pursue the ball and get on balance around the floor to maintain the moderate tempo while locating well for her hitters.
