Griffin was part of the AJV 16 Adidas team that ranked ninth in Houston with a campaign of four wins and four losses. A six-footer, she was one of the most powerful and effective scorers in the division, carrying a huge load in her team’s scoring efforts. Griffin made great use of her high contact point, benefiting from her extended offensive range to hit the ball into open spots towards the end line – she was efficient from the left, the right and the middle back positions. The pin hitter also showed a solid technical foundation to her game, handling the serves that went her way very efficiently and getting many touches when playing defense.

Miss Griffin has moved up in the State Rankings.  She is now currently ranked as the 11^th best overall according to the Texas State Ranking List.  She plays at Liberty Hill High School and for the Austin Juniors volleyball club program.  In only her second year at the varsity level, Hannah has positioned herself as one of the top kill leaders in the state of Texas.  She currently has tallied 548 kills on a very impressive .245 hitting percentage.  She has already dwarfed her kill total from last year and the season is not done yet.  What makes her lethal is not only her tremendous power but how she moves the ball around to different areas of the court to score.  Her coach and setter trust her abilities so much that they move her around to the middle for second tempo play sets and she crushes the ball at a very high clip.  Please help us congratulate her on moving up the State Ranking List.
