How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I always try to keep high energy on the court. I love those high-intensity moments when fighting for the point. I always play my best when there is high energy on the court, but if there is', I will do my best to raise it as best I can!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say my personality is always competitive and upbeat when it comes to volleyball. I am constantly working towards that next point mentality, remembering that I can't be embarrassed or afraid to make mistakes and take big swings.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the Friendship Circle and Access Books at school. I have received the Principal's Honor Roll award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

By doing various types of work, I have learned that balance is the key to making everyone feel heard. I have learned when it is time to step up and speak up, and when it is time to let others lead for a change. Sometimes others need to hear your voice, and sometimes you need to take a step back and listen to theirs to get the best outcome.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have always and still faced many challenges within myself. I have struggled and continue to struggle with confidence. Worried about being embarrassed when making a mistake, or not believing in myself that I can!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a warm and vibrant atmosphere with a good academic reputation. A college that strives for excellence and deeply cares for its students/athletes but also pushes them to exceed their potential.
