Ries checks in as the #14 middle in the rankings; the Emerald Ridge prospect showed improved aggression as the season went on, and she added a slide attack to her offensive bag. Ries can drop in a soft, well-placed tip with either hand; she has good vision and works around the block. Her commitment to closing the block and getting off the net in transition is outstanding. As she gets older and adds strength, she will continue to improve as a player.
