About Xanthe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style most of the time as stable and calm, but with positive energy throughout.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always try to make my mentality better the ball. Whenever I make a mistake, I always focus on making the next ball better. Also, my mindset behind my play is to help my teammates. I always try to get the ball up or get a good pass so my teammates can get up and swing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, Interact Club, and Asian American Pacific Islander Club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills I have developed are teamwork, leadership, my competitiveness, mental toughness, community service, and much more.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My most significant challenge is having to push through a tough mental block this season. There was time when I believed I wasn’t good enough for my team and just was getting worse and worse. However, I had my coaches and my teammates who were able to help me out and build up my confidence back.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a good team culture, supportive staff and players, and a nice campus/environment. Additionally, a place where I am going to be pushed to grow as a player and as a student.
