About Cassandra

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

As a setter, my gameplay style is all about quick decision-making and versatility. I focus on maintaining a fast tempo, reading the defense, and delivering accurate, unpredictable sets to keep the opponents guessing. I aim to create opportunities for my hitters by staying composed under pressure and adjusting based on the flow of the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is all about being calm under pressure and staying focused on the big picture. As a setter, I thrive on being the calm in the chaos, always thinking ahead. I’m driven by a competitive mindset but value teamwork above all else. I push myself and my teammates to be better every day, staying positive and resilient even when things aren’t going our way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in National Honors Society which I have received my official pin for holding the standards of what a national scholar is.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a setter, I take on the responsibility of guiding the team on the court and staying composed under pressure. Teamwork is at the core of my playing style. I’ve learned that success on the court is a collective effort. I always prioritize the needs of the team over personal achievement, making sure each player feels included and valued.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout my volleyball career I’ve faced several significant challenges. As a setter, I’ve had to quickly adjust to new teammates, learning their preferences and communication styles in a short amount of time. Every team is different, and it’s not always easy to find that perfect rhythm, but it’s forced me to develop strong leadership skills and improve my ability to adapt under pressure.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values both athletic and academic excellence. Ideally, I want to be at a place that has a strong volleyball program where I can continue to develop my skills, compete at a high level, and contribute to the team's success. I’m looking for a college with strong academic programs in a field I’m passionate about.
