Please welcome Miss Sutton officially to the State Rankings.  She is currently ranked as the 25^th best overall prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for West Park High School and also for the Omni volleyball club. Abby is the type of middle blocker who thrives when an offense is built to be aggressive and intentional through the center of the court. She has a strong physical base at 6’1″ and combines that size with polished footwork and clean attacking mechanics. What stands out most is her comfort running a wide variety of routes, as she can score efficiently both in front of and behind the setter without slowing the tempo. She shows excellent body control in the air, especially when adjusting mid-jump to turn and attack around well-formed blocks. That ability to score without needing perfect sets makes her a valuable option in transition. Defensively, she closes well laterally and uses her length to seal seams rather than chasing blocks. We think she has the skill set college coaches look for in a middle who can influence matches beyond just raw size. Her continued growth will depend on how often teams choose to feature her, because she has the tools to be a true difference-maker according to our scouts.
