One of the most rewarding aspects of this event was watching the on-site coaches select their own MVPs, players who stood out not just for their athletic abilities, but for the complete package they brought to the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each coach evaluated players firsthand, observing more than just stats or standout plays. They paid close attention to communication, coachability, hustle, and the subtle ways athletes elevated those around them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This process closely mirrors how college coaches scout talent. It's not always about who jumps the highest or hits the hardest. It's about finding players with a rare blend of skill, work ethic, and character, the kind of presence that leaves a lasting impression.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What made this MVP selection so meaningful was the freedom each coach had to define what excellence looked like. For some, it was leadership and vocal presence.
