brings a strong ability to stay engaged in extended sequences, especially at the net. In a quick transition moment, she reset her positioning and recognized the opportunity in front of her, finishing the play with a block that maintained pressure and momentum for her team. That awareness across both sides of the ball is a key trait for a middle.
Her communication is steady and purposeful, reinforcing focus and helping her team stay locked into their offensive system. She consistently brings clarity in moments where maintaining momentum is critical.
She is currently expanding her offensive decision-making, reading defenses and using a mix of attacks to create scoring opportunities. That willingness to vary her approach is making her less predictable and more effective as an offensive option.

, a Class of 2027 middle blocker from Martin Luther King High School and
Rancho Valley Volleyball
Club, and currently on the Prep Dig California State Rankings Watch List, showed why she is a name to keep an eye on. At 6’0”, she brings a solid physical frame to the middle and plays with purpose on every contact. Caitlin does a good job reading the setter and getting into position early, allowing her to be effective as a blocker. Offensively, she showed the ability to connect on quick tempo sets and finish plays when given opportunities. There were stretches where she controlled the net, influencing both attacking lanes and transition opportunities. There is no doubt in my mind after watching her perform that she can play at a high level at any front row position. This kind of versatility will be key in her recruitment moving forward. She competes with intent and stays active throughout rallies, which is key for the middle position. Caitlin’s performance backed up her Watch List status and pointed toward continued upward momentum. We are definitely going to keep our eye on her to see how much progress she makes in her craft. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.

💡 Game You’re Proud Of
At the moment, the part of my game that I am most proud of is my blocking abilities. For me, the more challenging a hitter can attack, the better my blocking becomes. I’m able to make opponents view my defense at the net as a threat. These abilities come from countless hours of private lessons, working towards improving my timing and speed.
📲 Why This Post Mattered
The first time I was featured on PrepDig CA, I was thrilled because of the strong reputation the platform has for reaching a larger audience. I definitely saw an increase in the number of likes and views on the post. The motivation behind creating my posts is to showcase my abilities to coaches. Having a digital library of my progress over the years also reminds me of how far I’ve come in a short amount of time and keeps me motivated to work harder.
🧠 What Coaches Should Know
Something I would want college coaches to know about me is my strong work ethic, both on and off the court. Having only started club volleyball my freshman year, at times I felt like I was behind my teammates. This drove me to start taking private lessons and begin weight training to help me become successful. Throughout my high school seasons, I continued with these extra practice sessions in addition to my school’s practices to make sure that I’d stay ready for club season.
As far as academics go, my mindset has remained the same. I have a 4.1 GPA and always strive to perform just as well in the classroom as I do on the court. Time management is very important to my success. I plan out my schedule each week with my workouts, practices, and all my academic responsibilities so that I have time for everything I need to complete. This lets me stay focused on volleyball because I know I have already scheduled time for my academics

‘s game. She dedicates herself to improvement with early morning lessons, weight training before practice, and a focus on steady growth. She has been working on her blocking, recognizing the importance of adjusting to faster, smarter hitters at higher levels. Teammates describe her as a competitor who expects a lot of herself but also as a supportive teammate who raises the energy on the court. Caitlin explained, “In the end, volleyball is about having fun, but I’m a firm believer in staying focused and having a purpose behind everything I do.” What makes her development even more impressive is that she has only played two years of club volleyball, and she has already made significant strides. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247

, a 6’0” middle blocker from King High School in Riverside, has been a steady defensive presence at the net. Through 39 sets she has recorded 30 total blocks, averaging 0.8 per set, with 14 coming as solo efforts. Her ability to read attackers and close space quickly gives King a reliable anchor in the middle who can slow down opposing offenses and create transition opportunities for her team.
Kiemele adds more than just blocking numbers to her profile. A junior with a 4.1 GPA, she brings discipline in the classroom and maturity on the court. Her development through Rancho VBC has sharpened her timing, footwork, and overall volleyball IQ, making her a consistent contributor who can adapt to different systems. Coaches will value her combination of size, academic strength, and steady work ethic as she continues to grow her game. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247
