The senior outside hitter was Dawson’s go-to scorer and thrived in the role, leading the team’s offense. Ifems made the most of her impressive firepower to consistently put the ball down, be it by finding ways around the block or by tooling it. She also offered her team a strong blocking presence at the pin, getting a few stuffs throughout the match. Her passing was stable for the most part and her offensive production far outweighed the few moments in which she struggled on the back row.

Ifems and her Houston Skyline 17 White team ranked fourth after getting two wins and two losses. She was pure power for them at the pin, scoring points at a high volume and also coming up big for the team in key moments of sets. Ifems got off the floor very well, made contact with the ball at a very high power and displayed great power in her right arm to put the ball down. The pin hitter showed good variation, too, and was very consistent, keeping her errors low. Ifems wasn’t very exposed on serve-receive, but handled the serves that went her way efficiently.
