Houston Stock Up Showcase Players to Watch – Vol 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We at Prep Dig Texas are looking forward to an exciting weekend in Houston as we're set to host our annual Stock Up and Freshman Showcases in the city on Sunday, August 3.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong><a href="https://events.prepdig.com/e/1520/register/houston-stock-up-showcase">Register now!</a></strong></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These events are the absolute best way to put the amazing prospects from the Lone Star State right in front of our scouts right before the start of the high school season and are always very fun and helpful in terms of understanding where everyone is at and how their progress should reflect on our State Rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are already familiar with some prospects who will attend the Stock Up Showcase, which this year will feature players from the 2026, 2027 and 2028 graduating classes, from having watched them play for their club or high school teams, but are very excited to see how much they improved from the last time we got to watch them in action.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here are some players we are looking forward to seeing in action on Sunday:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["579085"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-688a7f3d1a44f"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Rendon was in great form playing for TW Skyline 15 Royal in the last club season and has joined [program_tooltip program_id='538544' first='Katy' last='United'] for the next one. She was one of the standouts in our freshman showcase one year ago and has improved by leaps and bounds since then. Rendon is one of those libero who truly take charge of the backcourt, not only by getting more touches than anyone else on defense but also by consistently communicating with her teammates and keeping things organized. She doesn't look super physical at first glance, but that first impression quickly goes away after watching her in action for a few minutes. Earvin moves very well on the court, but she really stands out with her ability to get off the floor and put a lot of power into her swings in the middle. She has excellent setting hands and is capable of remaining accurate with her locations in all positions. Harting also offers a lot on defense as she does a great job with her positioning at the right back position and has tremendous ball control to deal with hard-driven swings.
