Please welcome Abby to the Prep Dig Texas State Ranking List. She is currently ranked as the No. 32 overall player in the 2029 grad class. Miss DiMatteo is a 5’9” outside hitter from College Park High School who competes for Houston Skyline Volleyball Club. She is an explosive athlete who brings a different level of speed and verticality to the pin, making her a difficult matchup for opposing blockers. Abby gets off the ground quickly and generates impressive arm speed, allowing her to contact the ball at a high point and with significant pace. There is a noticeable pop to her swing, and she can terminate points in a hurry when given space. What makes her even more valuable is her ability to contribute in the back row, showing comfort as both a passer and defender. She plays fast and aggressive, but still maintains control in her movements and decision-making. Her physical tools and dynamic style of play make her one of the more exciting prospects in this class. Please help us congratulate her on earning this well deserved recognition.
