Pham is a standout for FBCHA in the high school season and plays for Houston Skyline during club. She was a standout in our freshman showcase in the summer and did it again on Sunday, showing improvements in what already was a very solid defensive game. Pham has stellar technical skills and is very confident and efficient in serve-receive, covering a large area of the court and quickly moving to the ball to pass it with incredible precision. She also communicates very well, leaving no questions in terms of who should be on the ball. Pham also set during part of our event, reproducing the role she has with her high school team during the last season, and was very efficient with that as well.

Pham set for the FBCHA team that came out on top in the tournament with an undefeated campaign of six victories and only one set dropped. A freshman, she earned an All-Tournament Team selection for her performance, showing she’s ready to make an impact on the team right from the start of her high school career. An extremely technical player, she displayed great intelligence when running the team’s offense, doing a great job of distributing the ball among her hitters and remaining accurate with her locations. Pham also made a difference on the backcourt for her team, coming up with impressive digs.

Miss Pham is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 class according to our Texas State Rankings but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays volleyball for the FBCHA Eagles and also for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. When it comes to ball control experts, Izabella was one of the stand-outs throughout the showcase. During the scrimmage portion of the event, you could see that she was confident running the back row. When you see that she can also set at a very high level, it should make any college coach take notice. The ball almost looks like it is an extension of her hands and arms with how she is able to control it with ease. Her serve can be described as a laser that stifles opposing serve receivers. If you need a player to go to during a crucial moment in a very tight match, Miss Pham is someone that any coach can trust to do the right thing and be able to step up with confidence. She is a true show-stopper that needs to be noticed as a freshman. I cannot wait to update the State Ranking List because she will definitely be listed. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at our showcase.

Her ability to make an impact on the backcourt started to show early on as she was extremely productive in the defense and serve-receive drills. Besides displaying impressive ball control, Pham also stood out for her quickness on the backcourt, which allowed her to recover shanked passes and spilled digs outside the court. She also showcased a great attitude on the court, consistently communicating with her teammates and encouraging them.
