Players from all over the PNW traveled to Hillsboro, Oregon this past week to play in the Prep Dig Stock Up Showcase. Here are the setters in the class of 2028 that impressed:
Thompson has great eye work on and off the net. She has a powerful backset that allows her to reverse the flow of the ball and challenge the other side.
Evaluations are normally subscriber-only but when an athlete subscribes, theirs becomes free for all readers.
Subscribing doesn't change who the Scout covers, it changes who gets to see it.
Chu has stellar hands, allowing her to set from anywhere on the court. She goes after everything when she is not setting, adamant that the ball will not touch the floor.
Wilson has quick fingers, letting the ball lightly touch her before she launches it to available hitters. She has quick feet, making fast moves to every ball.
