Recap of February’s Recent Committed Players
<p> The winter blues can't get these players down. Last month brought more college commitments. We are excited to see that many have chosen to stay close to home as they continue their volleyball career. Here are five recent MN </p>
<p><strong></strong><b>Elle Dammann </b>from Waconia, has decided to play at<em> St. Thomas</em>. Currently, she is on the 18-2's team for MN Northern Lights. Dammann switched from her hometown club team to Lights when she joined the 15's team. And outstanding middle who likes a challenge: who made the varsity team in 8th grade and played on a 17's club team when she was only 14. Look for her to step in college with the same determination to find a spot on the court. She is one of three from the NL graduating class signed to <em>St. Thomas </em>(<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="71673" first="Emme" last="Jensen"]</strong>& <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="57527" first="Jordan" last="Johnson"]</strong></p>
<p>Also, on a 2's team, but for [program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last=''] Volleyball Club is <strong>Ava Miller. </strong>Miller has decided on the <em>University of St. Bens.</em> She is a talented middle from <em>Bloomington Jefferson High School</em>. Her senior year almost ended with a trip to state when they nearly took out St. Louis Park (losing in the 5th set 13-15.) </p>
<p>On the [program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last=''] 18-Gold is <strong>Anysia Caille </strong>who will play at St. Olaf. The right-side from <em>Minnetonka</em> will be a great asset to the program with her size, speed, versatility and left-handed hit. After her strong performance at the state tournament this year, it was just a matter of time before she announced her decision. Until then, she and the 18 Gold team will continue to take on the best at <a href="https://[program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last='']volleyball.com/tournaments/ncr-regional-national-bid-tournament-mar-7th/">NCR Regional National Bid Tournament</a>, <a href="https://[program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last='']volleyball.com/tournaments/pentagon-aau-grand-prix/">Pentagon AAU Grand Prix</a> and <a href="https://[program_tooltip program_id='428866' first='Vital' last='']volleyball.com/tournaments/18s-usav-national-championships-may-1st-3rd/">18s USAV National Championships</a>.</p>
<p>Next, is <strong>Rachel Weiber</strong>, who plays on the 17-1 team for Mizuno M1 volleyball club, who has decided on <em>Southern Utah University.</em> This is big decision for the 5'11'' junior from Northfield as the school is D1 and she is the first on her club team to officially commit. Weiber helped lead her high school team to the Big 9 Title and they look to have another great year this coming fall.</p>
