Known primarily as a six-rotation pin hitter, she was eager to jump in and fulfill a role in the middle due to a position shortage. Instead of backing down, she embraced the opportunity and thrived. Her court presence was undeniable — vocal, confident, and steady — earning shoutouts from multiple showcase coaches who praised both her performance and attitude.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>“Mia jumped into a new role without hesitation and made an immediate impact,” one coach shared. “She brought energy, led by example, and made her teammates better.”</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fitzgerald is explosive off the ground, with an impressive vertical and a fast arm swing that allows her to terminate from either pin. She puts up a strong block, has solid passing ability, and understands the flow of the game on both sides of the ball. Her ability to play all three front-row positions speaks to her high volleyball IQ and team-first mentality.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She's already a core player for Lakeridge High School, contributing significantly on both offense and defense.
