Highlighting the All-Tournament Team from the Tesoro Tournament

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 high school girls volleyball season is underway in California, as the first full week brought some memorable tournaments over the weekend. One tournament in particular was the Tesoro Tournament, hosted by Tesoro High School and Aliso Niguel High School.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the end, Newport Harbor wound up winning the tournament, defeating San Clemente in the final 25-20, 25-17 on Saturday. [player_tooltip player_id='545271' first='Ella' last='Olson'] was named tournament MVP after putting down 12 kills and three blocks in the final.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A little lore about the Tesoro Tournament, normally it's a three-day tournament starting on Friday with pool play, the conclusion of pool play and some playoffs on Saturday and ending on Monday with the semifinals, third place match and championship match for the gold and silver divisions. One thing that impressed me was how effective she was hitting the bic, no matter who was up at the net. Kotzakov came up big for the Sailors with 10 kills and a service ace in the semifinals against Edison. What really impressed me is how well she played on the right side. One unique and dangerous thing about Shanafelt's game is her top spin serve. Whether it was keeping the point alive or earning a point, Bacharach was there to make it happen. McPherson has a cannon for an arm and can play the left or the right side.
