Texas High School Report – Top Attackers Vol 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The high school season is underway all across the state of Texas and there have been some great individual performances so far.  This article series will highlight those special players who are leading their respective teams in certain statistical categories.  Let's start out with some attackers and see who is leading the charge. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Delaney is on a mission right now and mowing through the competition during her junior season.  She leads the entire state in total kills with 312 and that includes all grad classes.  What is even more impressive is that she only has 636 attempts with 76 errors and this results in a very efficient .371 hitting percentage.  Miss Wright concluded her club season on a very high note and is riding a big wave of momentum right now.  She has helped her squad to a 16-6 overall record on this young season and we cannot wait to continue to cover her offensive explosion.  If you have not seen her play yet, I strongly consider you grabbing some popcorn and enjoying the show the year amongst all grad classes.  Currently her kill total sits at 278.  Who knows, since this article has been published, she has probably scored a few more!  The uber-talented left side attacker has her squad at 14-7 and ready to take on all who dares to go up against them.  If there is one thing I know from watching her compete, she will not back down from anyone and can score the ball with the best of them.  Armed with a lightning fast arm swing and the ability to attack from multiple locations, this young lady is a natural killer of the volleyball.  Her senior season is looking to be pushed open the door and screamed, “The party don't start til I walk in!”  Her play is proving that her name belongs in the mix of youngsters who can flat out score the rock.  This young lady is extremely explosive and I am not sure if anyone can stop her.  The hitting percentage of .341 shows that not many are up to the task.  With only 57 errors on the year, she will be looking to set some records over the course of her entire high school career.  She just might become the best player to come out of Mansfield high school when it is all said and done.  In the meantime, we will love
