Each week we are going to take a look at 3 matchups throughout the upcoming week that are a MUST see. We will also have a Tournament of the Week to go with it. We are on the back side of the season now. Things are starting to solidify and regionals are looming. Now let's take a look at week 7.

9/22 Wagoner @ Pryor

Stimson vs Stimson for the 3rd time this season. Jason is the head coach for Pryor while Jayce is the daughter of Jason and also the head coach of Wagoner. They are currently tied 1-1 on the season. Players like OH [player_tooltip player_id='746719' first='Rainey' last='White'] and Lexi Line for Pryor have been playmakers all season. They will need to come up big tonight to get the job done. While the lefty middle blocker, Avri Mackey, is the big time offensive player for Wagoner. Setters Rosy O'Callaghan and Emme Young are the lifeblood that keeps these hitters swinging. Also look to [player_tooltip player_id='804248' first='Abri' last='Nanni'] and Taleah Alexander to help give Wagoner a booster. A nice little rivalry is beginning to form between these two schools.

9/23 Edmond Memorial @ Westmoore

Rankings came out today and oddly Westmoore drops to 9 despite not losing a match in a little over 2 weeks. This talented crew has been taking steps up the ladder the past couple seasons. They are playing with the best of the best now. Stud senior setter ,[player_tooltip player_id='301380' first='Olivia' last='Branum'] always finds a way to give her hitters a scoring opportunity. [player_tooltip player_id='750957' first='Sadie' last='Arnold'] and [player_tooltip player_id='761784' first='Rylie' last='Cross'] are two big time middles for Westmoore. You can not forget about [player_tooltip player_id='734850' first='Naomi' last='Perkins'] on the edge, she is a force in the front row. We shall see just how good Westmoore can be tomorrow, as they take on the #1 team in the state, the Edmond Memorial Bulldogs. I'm not even sure where to begin, their front row is stacked with hitters. [player_tooltip player_id='752750' first='Averie' last='Mannschreck'] and [player_tooltip player_id='833450' first='Julianna' last='Thornton'] have been on a tear from the outside position. [player_tooltip player_id='284931' first='Karis' last='Abiseid'] is killing it in left back as the Libero. Oh yeah and I guess their middles are alright too...not ONE but TWO D1 commits in [player_tooltip player_id='578520' first='Mackenzi' last='Law'] and [player_tooltip player_id='816085' first='Lolufe' last='Adedeji']. They are definitely looking like the #1 team here lately.

9/23 OCS @ Bishop McGuinness

The #1 vs #2 in class 5A! State championship preview?? Bishop McGuinness received 19 first place votes in today's rankings. They have a perfect record against 5A opponents thus far. BUT so does OCS. Someone will be getting their first 5A loss tomorrow. [player_tooltip player_id='760406' first='Maggie' last='LoPorto'] and [player_tooltip player_id='828398' first='Elise' last='Grim'] have really taken leaps in their play in the last 365 days. [player_tooltip player_id='748672' first='Arielle' last='Yapi'] sliding to the outside position has paid dividends. Meanwhile [player_tooltip player_id='284929' first='Charlotte' last='Nelson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='210539' first='Emma' last='Gardner'] have been key players on the pins for the Irish. OCS is a battle tested crew though. Only four games this season have been against an unranked team. We knew [player_tooltip player_id='739808' first='Marley' last='Robbins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='505685' first='Miley' last='Myers'] were going to come out guns blazing this season but the emergence of [player_tooltip player_id='827677' first='Reese' last='Harjo'] and [player_tooltip player_id='752787' first='Aven' last='Payne'] have really helped balance the offense. [player_tooltip player_id='739951' first='Kaylin' last='Cook'] has also done a fantastic job at the lone setter in the 5-1 system. I would be SHOCKED if either team can sweep the other. I think we are in for a long night of pure fireworks.

Keep up the great job coaches, players and parents here in Oklahoma.
