AVCA Player of the Year Watch List Features California’s Best

While 38 players across 19 states were recognized, our Golden State athletes made their presence felt with standout representation. Region 9 (California, Arizona, Nevada) tied Region 4 (Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) for the most honorees with eight players each, and California alone produced five names worthy of national attention.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From powerhouse programs like Mira Costa, Torrey Pines, Marymount, Redondo Union, and Mater Dei, these athletes reflect the depth of talent and tradition in California high school volleyball.
