Audrey brought steady, mature play to her finally appearance for Costa. Her jump serve had height and flow, creating natural difficulty for passers. She approached each swing with purpose, seeking the right angle and reading the block before committing. She favored the hard angle and inside seam and executed with control. Her composure stood out as she maintained a calm, focused presence that never wavered.

Flanagan continues to come up big time after time for Mira Costa, as she upped her overall game. Flanagan’s top spin serve was what really impressed me and her timing in terms of her swings was quite effective.

Audrey Flanagan Audrey Flanagan 6'2" | OH Mira Costa | 2026 State #5 Nation CA , an outside hitter from SCVC and a University of Wisconsin commit, is excited to showcase her attacking game at the UA Next Volleyball Camp. Known for her offensive presence at the net, Audrey is ready to bring power and precision against top competition while continuing to grow her game in a high-level environment.

Being invited to this camp is a meaningful accomplishment. Audrey has looked up to athletes who earned this opportunity before her, and receiving the same recognition has been a personal goal. Now that it’s her turn, she’s embracing the moment with pride and determination.

If she could bring one person with her, it would be her best friend and teammate Samantha (Sammy) Destler Samantha (Sammy) Destler 6'1" | OH Marymount | 2026 State #52 Nation CA . Audrey describes Sammy as a relentless worker and the most fun person to compete around. Audrey has moved up in the State Rankings.  She is now currently ranked as the best overall player and top outside hitter according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays at Mira Costa High School and for the Southern California Volleyball Club program.  There were tons of reasons why any of these players could be considered as the top overall player, but Audrey kept being at the top of each factor that was considered.  Anyone who follows junior volleyball around the country knows that she has been one of the best players consistently over the past few years.  This year has been no different as she has her squad highly ranked again.  Her exploits as a six-rotation left side attacker are legendary in tough matches.  There are very little weaknesses in her game and recently she chose where she will play her college volleyball at.  In two years, she will join the Wisconsin Badgers in their quest for a national championship.  Miss Flanagan will join an impressive roster that always is in the discussion as one of the best programs in the game.  We are pleased to have her listed on our website.  Please help us congratulate her on moving up the State Ranking List. 

Audrey is currently ranked as the 2^nd best overall prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings.  She plays for Mira Costa High School and also plays for the SCVC volleyball club program.  Miss Flanagan is a true point scorer in every sense of the word.  She has been one of the most prolific kill leaders since she stepped on the high school scene.  This year she has gotten even more efficient at tallying kills.  She currently sits at 382 kills on a very impressive .315 hitting percentage.  That ranks her second in the state amongst junior attackers.  The lengthy Wisconsin commit is a threat from any location the moment she steps on the court for her squad.  Opposing coaches must take note of where she is situated in each serve receive rotation due to her offensive abilities.  With super lengthy arms, blockers have to really time her perfectly, otherwise she will most likely hit over them.  Mira Costa is one of the best high school teams in the entire state of California and Miss Flanagan is a big reason why.  If you haven’t seen her play yet, I strongly encourage to catch a game, because she is a phenomenal scorer.
