This clash isn't just about advancing — it's about pride, momentum, and proving who's peaking at the right time. When these two programs step on the court, expect a match filled with tempo, grit, and a whole lot of firepower at the net.   Sauk Rapids-Rice comes in as the #1 seed, sitting at an impressive 23–2 overall and a flawless 12–0 in conference play. The Storm have looked sharp all season — their offense runs crisp, their serve receive is clean, and their transition game is relentless. On the other side of the net, #5 seed Fergus Falls has earned their postseason respect, riding a wave of momentum at the right time. Sitting at 15–11 overall, the Otters have proven they can disrupt rhythm and make teams uncomfortable with aggressive serving and high-IQ defensive reads.   This semifinal promises a chess match between two fundamentally sound squads — one built on system efficiency, the other on heart and unpredictability.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Sauk Rapids-Rice: Composed, Confident, and Commanding</h3>   The Storm have dominated much of the year with a balanced offense and steady backcourt leadership. Her block timing has improved each week, and she consistently closes seams, taking away valuable hitting lanes for opponents. Offensively, she brings a quick arm swing and a presence that draws blockers, opening up lanes for Sauk Rapids' pins. Her leadership and steady play at the net will be crucial in slowing down Fergus Falls' attack.   When Sauk Rapids-Rice is in rhythm, their offense looks effortless — passes are clean, sets are on tempo, and their hitters attack in system. But what truly separates this group is their ability to grind when things don't go perfectly.
